The Black Ryder share another song from new LP, opening for Jesus & Mary Chain on North American 'Psychocandy' dates

The Black Ryder‘s new album, The Door Behind the Door, is out February 24 via The Anti-Machine Machine. Produced by core duo Scott Von Ryper and Miss Aimee Nash, it’s a gorgeous record of what you could call widescreen psych, with crashing drums, deep layers of guitars, mellotrons, and swelling choruses, all working in harmony. (If you like Besnard Lakes or Slowdive, do check this out.) The band have just shared my favorite song from the album, “Let Me Be Your Light,” which really shows off the scope of the new album. You can still get tickets to The Black Ryder’s NYC show at Mercury Lounge on March 10, which is with local psych rock band White Hills. After that, the band will head to the UK for a few shows before returning to open for The Jesus and Mary Chain‘s North American Psychocandy shows. Still no NYC JAMC show announced, but all Black Ryder dates are listed below.
