Turn to Crime announce new album (stream a track); NYC shows are this week

Detroit’s Turn to Crime will release their new album, Actions, on April 28 via frontman Derek Stanton’s own Mugg & Bopp Records. The album ranges from claustrophobic post-punk to more sprightly pop (the title track) but all filtered through Stanton’s unique point of view. You can stream “Prince of Slackers” from it below.

Folks in NYC can catch Turn to Crime this week as they’re here for two shows: Cake Shop tonight (2/25) with Dinowalrus and Banana Kiss, and then Shea Stadium on Thursday (2/26) with PC Worship, Beech Creeps, and Happy You.
