Spill

Lancaster, PA fuzz punks Placeholder broke up recently, but now singer Brandon Gepfer formed a new band with members of another sorely missed Lancaster band, the Topshelf-signed screamo rippers We Were Skeletons. The new band’s called Spill and they’ve got a TBA EP on the way, but meanwhile we’re premiering their first single, “Sucks Either Way.” The new song’s a little calmer than their past projects, not that that’s a bad thing though. It’s a mid-tempo rocker recalling Let It Be/Tim-era Replacements, and Spill does that sound justice while giving it their own spin too. Check it out below.

The band have a few dates coming up, including hometown shows with Diarrhea Planet, Iron Chic, Spraynard and others. Hopefully they’ll come to NYC soon too.
