Jamie xx

The xx’s Jamie xx has been making quality music outside of his main band for a few years now (his 2011 single Far Nearer” is especially great), and this year he’s finally releasing his first full length solo album. It’s called In Colour, will be out June 1 via Young Turks, and Jamie just put out the video for the very good opening track “Gosh.” It was directed by Erik Wernquist, and can be watched below.

Jamie also has international tour dates running from mid-May through late October, and those include a NYC show happening August 8 at Terminal 5. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (5/1) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (4/29) at noon.
