Single Mothers (who recently played one of our SXSW shows) brought their tour with fellow Canadian punk rippers The Dirty Nil to NYC last night (4/5) for a show at Saint Vitus. The two bands did some on-stage collaborating, with Mike Peterson from Single Mothers coming out during The Dirty Nil’s set, and Kyle Fisher from The Dirty Nil returning the favor during Single Mothers’ set.

It was a doubly special night, with local heavy/atmospheric rockers City of Ships celebrating the release of their upcoming album, Ultraluminal (due 4/21 via Science of Silence). Pictures of all three bands are in this post and continue below…
