The Sonics on tour, NJ show moved to Wonder Bar (win tix!)

Seattle garagepunk progenitors The Sonics are on the East Coast this week with shows happening in NYC and Asbury Park, NJ — both with Barrence Whitfield and the Savages. The latter was supposed to happen on Thursday (4/9) at the Stone Pony, but due to “ongoing area construction” it will now happen at The Wonder Bar (still on 4/9). Tickets are still available and if you’d like to go for free, we’re giving away a pair. Details below.

Before that the Sonics play Irving Plaza on Wednesday (4/8) and tickets are still available for that show too. We’re also giving away tickets to the NYC show on our Facebook.

P.S. speaking of NJ, hope to see you Saturday night in New Brunswick too.
