Ride recorded a concert for the BBC (listen) ++ win a signed prize package and tickets to Irving Plaza

Shoegaze greats Ride are in the midst of their reunion, having just wrapped a run in North America and are now back in the UK. Yesterday (5/20), Ride recorded a live performance at legendary BBC recording studio Maida Vaile for BBC 6Music. They sound really good, and you can stream the full, hour-long performance below.

Ride will be in Spain next weekend for Primavera Sound and right after that they’ll head to NYC for two sold-out shows. They’ll be back this fall for two shows at Irving Plaza (September 21 & 22) to which tickets are still available. If you’d like to go for free we’re also giving away a pair of tickets to the Irving show of your choice. Entry form, and an updated list of Ride tour dates are below.

Wait, that’s not all. We’ve also got a Ride prize package to give away as well, that includes a red vinyl copy of Ride’s OX4 best-of compilation (which came out for Record Store Day) which is signed by the band, as well as a CD copy of the deluxe, expanded edition of of their debut album Nowhere which includes the Today Forever EP, a recording of a 1991 concert and 40-page book.
