Albert Hammond Jr. streaming new album, expands tour, including second Bowery Ballroom show (updated dates)

Albert Hammond Jr’s new solo album, Momentary Masters, is out this Friday (7/31). There’s an almost Foals-like math-iness to some of it, and while still very hooky, it’s definitely different territory for the Strokes guitarist. You can stream the whole thing right now, below.

Hammond has expanded his upcoming tour, including a second night at Bowery Ballroom on September 22. Tickets to that newly added show go on sale Friday (7/31) with an AmEx presale beginning Wednesday (7/29) at noon. You can still get tickets to his 9/21 Bowery show as well.

All tour dates, which include this weekend’s Lollapalooza fest in Chicago, are listed below.
