Protomartyr & Deradoorian touring separately, playing a free NYC show together this weekend (dates)

We recently mentioned that Deradoorian would play a release party for The Expanding Flower Planet in NYC this Friday (8/28) at Trans-Pecos (tickets) and it turns out that’s actually one of two NYC shows for her this weekend.

The second is a Pitchfork-presented show on Saturday (8/29) at Villain (50 N. 3rd St) with the great Protomartyr and a special guest headliner. It’s free, but you have to email [email protected] to get in. Entry is first come, first served. Show flyer and set times below.

Protomartyr have other dates coming up, including shows with Amanda X and CMJ. Deradoorian also tours with Laetitia Sadier, including NYC on 9/11 at Baby’s. Tour schedules and new music from both artists, below.
