Laura Stevenson will follow 2013’s Wheel with a new album titled Cocksure on October 30 via Don Giovanni. The first single is the fuzzy rocker “Torch Song,” and you can stream that below.

Laura’s going on tour opening for Matt Pond PA, which hits NYC on November 21 at the Marlin Room at Webster Hall. Additional support comes from Completions, aka Shawn Alpay of Matt Pond’s band. Tickets for Webster are on sale now.

Laura has another NYC show sooner than though, with comedian (and her labelmate) Chris Gethard at Union Hall on September 21. It’s one of Chris’ “Career Suicide” shows, which offer “an hour of comedy about suicide, depression, alcoholism, and all the other funnest parts of life. Tickets are on sale now.
