Okkervil River reissuing 'Black Sheep Boy' & playing it in full on tour (dates, new song stream)

Okkervil River‘s most classic album Black Sheep Boy turns 10 this year, and in celebration of that they’re releasing a three-LP set of the album, the Black Sheep Boy Appendix, and a previously-unreleased covers album There Swims A Swan. It was made during the Black Sheep Boy era and includes a over of Tom House’s “I’m in Love with Susan Smith,” which you can stream below.

The band will also play the album and the appendix in full on tour this fall in support of the reissue. The tour hits NYC on November 21 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (9/11) at noon with an AmEx presale starting today (9/9) at noon.
