Run For Cover Records continues to be a trustworthy indie rock label, and they’ll show off their increasingly diverse roster with their free 2015 CMJ showcase on October 17 at Palisades. RSVP is open.
The lineup includes shoegazers Pity Sex, Swedish post-punks Makthaverskan, proggy chiptuners Crying and ’90s-Merge-y indie rockers LVL UP (who share a member), lo-fi punks Teen Suicide, Tigers Jaw associate Petal, Microphones-y singer/songwriter Spencer Radcliffe, and Pinegrove. Makthaverskan and Spencer Radcliffe will visit NYC other times during October too, and Pity Sex also play the Car Wash show that day. Petal (who we suggested you check out) was here earlier this month.
