Stephen Colbert made his debut as host of CBS’ The Late Show on Tuesday night (9/8) with guests George Clooney and Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush. The end of the show featured a performance by house band Jon Batiste and Stay Hungry, covering Sly & the Family Stone’s “Everyday People” with a whole bunch of special guests, including Mavis Staples, Ben Folds, Buddy Guy, Beirut’s Zach Condon, Kyle Resnick, and Ben Lanz, Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard and lots more.
