AV Club have published their list of The 15 Best Albums of 2015. Besides two forward-thinking California rappers (guess which ones?) and Grimes, this list leans the most heavily on guitar rock of all the ones we’ve seen this year, whether it’s the hushed sounds of Sufjan Stevens and Julien Baker or the harder-edged Sleater-Kinney and Courtney Barnett.
