The annual Ecstatic Music Festival returns in 2016 from January 29 to March 19, with all performances happening at NYC’s Merkin Concret Hall except the opening night at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space with Man Forever & Tigue.

The collaborative series also includes Pharaohe Monch & PitchBlak Brass Band on 2/4, Bang on a Can People’s Commissioning Fund Concert on 2/6, Rachel Grimes & Longleash on 2/10, Yo La Tengo & Alvin Lucier on 2/17, Lee Ranaldo & Dither on 3/2, Exceptet, Ensemble Échappé & Goldfeather on 3/13, William Tyler, Quindar & Nick Hallett on 3/17, and M. Lamar, Charlie Looker & Mivos Quartet on 3/19.

Festival passes, 2+ show passes and individual show tickets are on sale now.

That makes a third upcoming NYC-area date for Yo La Tengo, who are touring in 2016. Lee Ranaldo plays NYC tonight (12/2). Ecstatic Music Fest lineup in list format with more details, below…
