Joey Bada$$ cancels dates, including NJ (NYC & Long Island are still on)

Joey Bada$$ has been on tour, but sadly he’s had to cancel several upcoming dates due to physical, mental and emotional health issues. He writes:

To whom it may concern,

When the agents, managers, fans & friends don’t understand how I’m feeling, my body does. I’m deeply sorry to announce the cancellation of my shows in Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, and Starland Ballroom in New Jersey but I am thoroughly exhausted. 2015 has been one hell of a year for me: I dropped my debut album, toured the world and connected with my fans on a level like never before… I did this all with little to no sleep and absolutely no breaks in between. Not to mention that I lost my tour manager (whom was also my older cousin) in a fatal car crash at this very time last year.

At this point I don’t feel healthy physically, mentally and emotionally and know that all of this would compromise my ability to perform, which is something I never want to do. Joey Bada$$ isn’t is a half ass performer. I’d rather return at my best then to give you guys the possibility of not having the full, true Joey Bada$$ experience.
I hope that this letter finds those whom it may concern very well. I will do everything in my power to make sure you guys’ love and support never go unnoticed. Not now and not ever. Denmark, France, Norway, Finland, Sweden, & New Jersey I owe you guys big time. See you next year when I’m back and better than ever.

As the quote points out, one of the cancelled dates is the NJ show that would have happened December 17 at Starland Ballroom (refunds are available). It looks like he’s actually not canceling his Long Island or NYC shows though, which happen December 18 at The Paramount (tickets) and December 22 at Playstation Theater (tickets), respectively.
