Owen streams new song "Critical Condition" off Kevin Devine split (listen)

The next installment of Kevin Devine‘s split singles series comes out December 18 and features Owen (aka Mike Kinsella of American Football, Cap’n Jazz, etc). Owen’s contribution, “Critical Condition,” is out now and it’s a fleshed-out full-band song that would’ve fit nicely on his last album. Check it out below (via Noisey).

Owen will be playing all three of Kevin’s BV-presented release shows, which also includes the other split-mates Matthew Caws (Nada Surf), Meredith Graves (Perfect Pussy), Tigers Jaw and Cymbals Eat Guitars. Brooklyn (12/11 at The Bell House) also has Laura Stevenson, Philly (12/12 at the TLA) also has Jesse Lacey (Brand New), and Cambridge, MA (12/13 at The Sinclair) also has Brian Sella (The Front Bottoms).
