The National playing MASS MoCA benefit, Aukland City Limits fest & other 2016 dates

The National have scheduled a few shows for 2016, including Aukland City Limits in New Zealand, as well as dates in Australia and Europe. The only North American show on their docket is a benefit happening June 11 at Joe’s Field at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA. Proceeds benefit both the MASS MoCA museum and Hawthorne Valley Association. Tickets for that benefit show go on sale Friday (12/18) at 11 AM with an fan presale beginning Thursday (12/17) at 11 AM. For those with deeper, more charitable pockets, there’s also a cocktail party before the show featuring “Hawthorne Valley Farm fare and other local foods, farm-to-tap beer, Berkshire Mountain Distillers spirits, and a behind-the-scenes tour of MASS MoCA” and you get “premium, reserved standing-room adjacent to the concert soundboard.”
