Jessy Lanza announces new LP, shares video for new song

Jessy Lanza is following her 2013 debut, Pull My Hair Back, with Oh No on May 13 via Hyperdub. Like that album, she recorded it with Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys. It’s hard to hear Jessy’s voice and not think of Grimes, but first single “It Means I Love You” sounds like if Grimes was humming in the background at a dance club at 2 AM. Check out the video below.

Jessy is also touring with Junior Boys this year, including NYC on March 31 at Webster Hall. Tickets for that show are still available.
