Ariana Grande brought out *NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy & Mase at Coachella (videos)

Coachella, once the festival you thought might finally land a Smiths reunion, is now the festival to land a surprise *NSYNC reunion (minus Justin Timberlake). The late ’90s/early ’00s boy band came out during Ariana Grande‘s headlining set on Sunday during her song “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored,” which samples *NSYNC’s “It Makes Me Ill,” and then they did “Tearin’ Up My Heart” together.

Other non-boy-band guests during Ariana’s set included frequent collaborator Nicki Minaj, though Nicki’s appearance was met by technical difficulties, and more ’90s nostalgia came when Ariana brought out Diddy and Mase for their Biggie collab “Mo Money Mo Problems.” During the song, she paid tribute to both Biggie and Tupac, as well as recently fallen rappers Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle. Ariana also covered Frank Ocean’s “Close To You” during her set. Watch videos and see her full setlist below.
