Earlier this week Sinead O'Connor posted accusations about Arsenio Hall, saying he gave drugs to Prince and laced a joint that he gave to her before everything became "all slow motion" and he put "his tongue in my mouth." This was her initial Facebook post from May 2:

Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades.... Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's bitch) Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy's house. You best get tidying your man cave.

The next day, O'Connor posted a much, much longer "full story" of the night at Eddie Murphy's house (which seems to have been a viewing party for the a 1991 Grammys that O'Connor boycotted). It mentions Prince, but just in passing, and not in any way linking Arsenio to him. Hall has now sued O'Connor for defamation over the Facebook posts, seeking $5 million in damages, and in it calling her a "desperate, attention-seeker (who) has maliciously published outlandish defamatory lies."

UPDATE: Sinead has responded:

REGARDING ARSE-INIO HALL'S LAUGHABLE THREATS

I'm more amused than I've ever dreamed a person could be and look forward very much to how hilarious it will be watching him trying to prove me wrong.

I'm also very happy to notice that the DEA have taken me seriously enough to be thoroughly questioning all of Prince's friends and aides from the last thirty years as to his KNOWN history of hard drug use and where he obtained his drugs. I do not like drugs killing musicians. And I do not like Arsenio Hall. He can suck my dick. That is if he isn't too busy sucking someone else's dick. : )

The day before the 1991 Grammys, O'Connor appeared on The Aresnio Hall Show. Video of that appearance is below.

Reports that Prince was addicted to pain killers have surfaced since his sudden death two weeks ago, and the man who called 911 may face criminal charges. Stay tuned.
