Ash's breakthrough album 1977 (named after the year 2/3 of the members were born, and also Star Wars and punk rock), featuring mid-'90s alt-rock classics "Girl from Mars," "Oh Yeah," "Goldfinger" and "Kung Fu," turns 20 this year and the band are celebrating by playing it back-to-front on tour this fall. Dates include a stop at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 6. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, June 24 at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (6/22) at noon.
