Astronoid just wrapped up a tour with synth trance metal band Infinity Shred, and they hit Brooklyn's Saint Vitus on Friday (6/28) before concluding the tour in Boston two days later. They were supporting their new self-titled sophomore album, which is a wild, atmospheric mix of prog, metal, and pop. You need a lot of raw talent to pull this kind of thing off, and as evidenced at the Vitus show, Astronoid have it. Matthew Mast also opened and pictures of all three acts are in the gallery above.
