At the Drive-In announce tour, promising new music in 2016
At the Drive-In already announced that they’re re-reuniting this year for Rock on the Range and Shaky Knees Festival, but now the reunion is looking like a way bigger deal. They posted the above picture that reveals they’re doing a world tour and releasing new music for the first time since 2000’s Relationship of Command.
The tour hits NYC on June 17 at Terminal 5, and that’ll be the band’s first NYC show since reuniting (they didn’t play here on the 2012 run). Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, January 29 at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (1/27) at noon. All dates are listed below.
That means Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez will be pretty busy this year, since their other band Antemasque (which now includes Travis Barker) are also promising a new album.
