At the Drive In return to NYC (Terminal 5 pics, videos, setlist)

After announcing their reunion in 2012, At the Drive In played a series of shows, starting in Austin and including Coachella, but none in NYC. When the band re-reunited in 2016, their tour included an NYC stop, but that show was cancelled due to singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala’s vocal illness. Cancellation of the rest of that tour soon followed. In December of 2016, finally, At the Drive In released new music for the first time since 2000, and this year they announced an album, in·ter a·li·a. They also finally made it back to NYC to play a show, last night (3/22) at Terminal 5. Like at their Dallas warm up show, At the Drive In played two new songs off in·ter a·li·a, “Incurably Innocent” and “Governed by Contagions.”

See the whole setlist and a few video clips from the show below; pictures are in the gallery above, including opener Le Butcherettes, whose feral, unhinged performances are always a treat to witness. We caught both bands at SXSW, too; At the Drive In made a surprise appearance at House of Vans, and Le Butcherettes was a highlight of day 1 of our Lost Weekend parties with Sound on Sound Fest at Cheer Up Charlies.
