At the Drive In were the special guests at last night's (3/15) House of Vans SXSW show at the Mohawk in Austin. They were added to a bill that included The Black Angels, Polica, Denzel Curry, Temples, and others. We didn't stay for the whole showcase, but pictures of Denzel Curry and At The Drive In are in the gallery above.

Like the Dallas show the previous night, last night's Austin show was a relatively small warm up for ATDI's upcoming tour (which includes a rescheduled sold out night at NYC's Terminal 5). The focus of the setlist was mostly on older albums, much to the delight of the crowd, who moshed, stage dove, and enthusiastically welcomed frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala's own multiple crowd surfs. "Governed By Contagions" off the upcoming in·ter a·li·a, ATDI's first album since 2000, also got a warm reception. Watch a few videos from last night's show below.

For those in Austin, SXSW continues all week. Our free BrooklynVegan & Sound on Sound Fest parties at Cheer Up Charlies kick off at noon - we hope to see you there! We also made a list of 15 artists we recommend seeing at SXSW who aren't playing one of our parties.
