Austra announce new album 'HiRUDiN,' share "Anywayz"
Austra returned earlier this year with “Risk It,” her first new song in three years, and now she’s announced her first new album since 2017’s Future Politics. HiRUDiN is due out May 1 via Domino, and its first track is sparkling electro-pop track “Anywayz.” “It explores the fear associated with leaving someone,” Katie Stelmanis says, “and the terrifying realization that without them in your life, the rest of the world will continue unscathed as if nothing has changed.” Listen to it below.
