Australian artist Gabriella Cohen will release her debut album, Full Closure and No Details, on October 14 via Dot Dash/Captured tracks. It's an LP full of warm, smokey guitar pop, steeped in the Velvet Underground and vintage soul (it's a sound she describes as "pink"). A great example of what she does is "Downtown," an aching, lovelorn ballad that premieres in this post. You can stream that, along with "Sever the Walls" and "I Don't Feel So Alive," below.

Gabriella will be in North America later this fall to play shows in New York City, Los Angeles and Toronto. There are two NYC shows: Mercury Lounge on November 10 and Alphaville on November 12. Tickets for Mercury Lounge go on AmEx presale today at noon with the general on-sale beginning Friday (9/30) at noon. Aphaville tickets on sale TBA.

All dates are listed, along with album art, tracklist and song streams, below.
