B Boys released debut EP and "Get a Grip" video, playing Brooklyn show w/ Yung & Telegram before spring tour
Brooklyn trio B Boys release their debut EP, No Worry No Mind, today via Captured Tracks. Drawing influence from the mutant pop days of the late ’70s (Wire, Stranglers, more Wire), it’s tense, nervous, driving punk with no shortage of hooks or attitude. B Boys have some shows coming up, including Brooklyn’s Shea Stadium on March 25 which is with Danish band Yung, UK band Telegram and The Ying Yangs. Tickets are on sale.
The band will then be on tour later this year, starting with a show at Brooklyn’s Union Pool on April 29 with openers TBA, and the tail end of that tour will be opening for Parquet Courts, including their NYC show at Webster Hall on May 20. Tickets are still available.
