Backtrack breaking up, announce final tour

New York hardcore crew Backtrack are calling it quits after 11 years as a band, but not before going on one last international tour of North America, Asia, and Australia. “We appreciate everyone who has shown this band love over the past eleven years. Thanks to anyone who has supported us along the way, and we look forward to seeing you one last time,” the band says. They released three full-lengths and a couple demos/EPs during their career, the latest being 2017’s Bad To My World (on Bridge 9). Openers for the tour vary by date and include King Nine, Maximum Penalty, Dead Heat, Rule Them All, Minus, Somerset Thrower, and more.

The band’s final tour includes a hometown show on June 28 at Brooklyn Bazaar with King Nine, Maximum Penalty, promising Wilkes-Barre band One Step Closer, and Shackled. Tickets for Backtrack’s final NYC-area show go on sale Friday (5/17) at 10 AM.
