Bananarama's original lineup played first-ever NYC show (pics, video, setlist)

Bananarama‘s original lineup — Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward — just wrapped up their first ever tour of North America with a sold-out show NYC’s PlayStation Theater on Saturday (2/24). Clearly having a great time, Bananarama pulled out most of their best-known singles — “Cruel Summer,” “Venus,” “Shy Boy,” “Robert De Niro’s Waiting” — a few of their Fun Boy Three collaborations (“Really Saying Something,” “‘Tain’t What You Do [It’s the Way That You Do It],” both covers), and some deeper cuts like their cover of Black Blood’s “Aie a Mwana”. They also played “Stay,” the hit by Siobhan Fahey’s post-Bananarama group Shakespears Sister. You can check out the setlist and video of “Cruel Summer” and the encore (“‘Tain’t What You Do” and “Love in the First Degree”) below and pictures from the night are in the gallery above.
