Undead! Undead! Undead! Goth icons Bauhaus are getting back together -- all four original members -- and have announced a show: Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium on November 3, perfect for those who want to extend Halloween festivities a few days more. Tickets for that show go on sale this Friday The 13th (natch) at 10 AM Pacific. That is the only announced show (so far?).

Bauhaus have reformed a few times since initially breaking up in 1983. There was the 20th anniversary tour in 1998, and then they got back together in 2005 for Coachella and a subsequent tour, and then opened for Nine Inch Nails on tour in 2006. That reunion looked to be a little more permanent, and Bauhaus went into the studio to make a new album, the not-bad-at-all Go Away White, which was their first in 25 years, but broke up before its 2008 release.

Peter Murphy spent the early part of 2019 celebrating Bauhaus' 40th anniversary on tour with David J on bass. Meanwhile, David's brother and Bauhaus drummer, Kevin Haskins, and guitarist Daniel Ash have spent the last few years touring as POPTONE. We're very glad to see them them back together and fingers crossed this goes well and we'll get more.

Peter Murphy was more than halfway through a career retrospective residency at NYC's Le Poisson Rouge in August when he suffered a heart attack. Thankfully, his attending physician says Peter is on the road to a full recovery. The remaining LPR shows are set to be rescheduled though no dates have been announced yet.

Some of us may also see this as a chance for a possible Love & Rockets reunion, too. The band -- David J, Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins -- broke up in 1999, got back together for a handful of festival and related shows in 2007 and 2008 but otherwise haven't played since.
