Beach Fossils share "Saint Ivy" video from new LP

Beach Fossils
have shared the video for “Saint Ivy,” the new single from their forthcoming Somersault. It’s very different for the Brooklyn band, fueled by piano, strings and flute. The video, too, is different, paying tribute to NYC artists and featuring dancers who have grown up in the NYC school system. Say directors Joey Chriqui and Milah Libin, “In uncertain times, we turn to New York City as a reassuring look into the true diversity of this country. We set out to create a vision of NYC that demonstrates a more honest and nuanced understanding of what it means to live here. This video represents the less visible places and characters that exist in beautiful harmony both in this city, and in America.” Watch the video above.

Somersault will be out June 2 via Bayonet. Beach Fossils only upcoming shows are at this weekend’s When We Were Young festival and FYF Fest in July.
