Beach House, Central Park Summerstage 7/23/2012
Beach House

If there's any band to see while a storm begins to brew overhead, it may just be Beach House. Some of those lightning flashes last night at their Summerstage performance in Central Park seemed almost synchronized to what they were playing. While a noticeable stream of people left as the weather worsened midway through the show, the band played on and their set didn't seem to be cut short by the rain. (Setlist is at the bottom of this post.) And while some Summerstage shows can be on the quiet side, Beach House were thunderous.

Fellow Baltimorians Lower Dens, a late-announced addition (after their Bowery performance), opened the show. More pictures from last night's show are below and if you haven't been keeping up, we've also posted pics of both bands from Pitchfork Fest.
