Beach Slang have been touring like crazy as always, and they just added a headlining tour for the fall. Support on most dates comes from Dave Hause & the Mermaid (who have a new album). Beach Slang are also releasing a new limited-edition 7″ with a cover of the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind” (recorded live at The Masquerade in Atlanta) and a home demo of “Bad Art & Weirdo Ideas” from their debut album. There’s a pre-sale for the tour underway now, where you can purchase a bundle that includes your tickets and the new 7″.
The run with Dave Hause includes a NYC show on November 29 at Irving Plaza with additional support from Homeless Gospel Choir. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (7/28) at 10 AM and there are also Live Nation/Music Geeks presales starting Wednesday (7/26) at 10 AM (LN password = TEMPO).
