Bell Witch & Primitive Man streaming music off new LPs, touring together

Seattle doom duo Bell Witch will follow 2015’s Four Phantoms with a new album, Mirror Reaper, on October 20 via Profound Lore. The album is one continuous eighty-three minute track, and it was engineered and mixed by famed metal produced Billy Anderson (who’s worked with Neurosis, Sleep, Swans, Melvins, and many others). It’s their first album with drummer Jesse Shreibman, who joined in 2015 after Adrian Guerra left the band. (Adrian sadly passed away the following year.) The album also features honorary member, vocalist Erik Moggridge (of Aerial Ruin). You can hear an ominous ten-minute excerpt of the album below.

Bell Witch have announced a tour with Denver sludge metallers Primitive Man, who also have a new album on the way. Theirs is called Caustic and due out on October 6 via Relapse. It was produced by Dave Otero (Cobalt, Cattle Decapitation), and you can hear the brutal lead single “My Will” below.

The Bell Witch/Primitive Man tour hits Brooklyn on November 6 at Saint Vitus (tickets) and Montclair, NJ on November 8 at The Meatlocker. All dates are listed below.
