Ben Stiller's band Capital Punishment prep first new record in 36 years (stream 'Confusion")

You may remember that Capital Punishment, Ben Stiller’s high school band from the early-’80s, had their self-released 1982 debut album, Roadkill, reissued by Captured Tracks. The interest in the record has stirred the creative juices of the band who went back into the studio and recorded a new EP which will be their first new record in 36 years. This is Capital Punishment will be out as a limited release for Record Store Day Black Friday (11/23) and the group have just shared one of its tracks, a re-recording of their old song “Confusion.” It sports a little more fidelity and finesse than the original, but is otherwise still a pretty catchy, if weird, post-punk number.
