Benjamin Clementine has just shared the video for "Jupiter" from his just-released sophomore album, I Tell A Fly. The song was inspired by receiving a U.S. visa that described him as an "alien." Benjamin says, "Seeing my visa just opened everything for me...wandering around in America...There was Trump and Clinton, there was the Orlando attack, the New Orleans attack -- here I was thinking I was living in a safe place, but nothing was really safe anymore, or ever. It’s a poke at people being called aliens by some people, like we’re from another planet. I think we’re all forever aliens." The video was directed by Lola Schnabel (daughter of painter/filmmaker Julian Schnabel) and shot against the vistas of New Mexico. You can watch that, and stream I Tell a Fly, below.

Currently on tour in Europe, Benjamin Clementine will be in NYC for the New York Times "TimesTalks" series on February 2 at TheTimesCenter. In addition to conversation, Clementine will perform as well. Tickets are on sale now.
