Benjamin Schoos releasing new EP, made a video for duet with Laetitia Sadier (watch)

When not running Belgian label Freaksville, Benjamin Schoos makes lush Franco-style pop on his own. His 2012 album, China Man Vs China Girl, featured guest appearances from Laetitia Sadier, Chrissie Hynde, and Ride’s Mark Gardner. He’s back with a new EP, Une Dernière Danse, on April 29 and should appeal to fans of Sebastien Tellier, Benjamin Biolay and Stereolab. The EP’s title track is another duet with Sadier and a bouncy pop jem in its own right. We’re premiering the video which was filmed in the English seaside getaway of Brighton, albeit in the off-season which adds a certain shabby charm. Watch it below.
