Yesterday, Big Boi announced that he'd release his first solo album in five years, Boomiverse, at some point soon. He also mentioned he'd release two singles from it today (4/20), and now they're here.

The first is "Mic Jack," which features a hook by Maroon 5's Adam Levine. (Adam Levine and Maroon 5 are no strangers to working with rappers, and also no strangers to working with Boi Boi, who appeared on a remix of Maroon 5's "Animals.") The song was produced by DJ Dahi and DJ Khalil, and it's got Big Boi in top form as always.

The second is "Kill Jill," featuring Killer Mike and Jeezy. Compared to the poppier "Mic Jack," this one goes hard. Today is also Killer Mike's birthday. Happy birthday Killer Mike!
