Big Thief's Adrianne Lenker shares "symbol," announces 2019 tour
Big Thief singer Adrianne Lenker is releasing her anticipated solo album abyskiss on October 5 via Saddle Creek, and she has now shared a second single from it, “symbol.” Like “cradle,” “symbol” is a gentle, acoustic folk song that isn’t a million miles away from Big Thief’s music, but much more stripped-down and intimate. It’s great stuff, as you can hear for yourself below.
Adrianne has also announced a 2019 solo tour, including a Brooklyn show on February 14 at Music Hall of Williamsburg with Here We Go Magic’s Luke Temple (who co-produced abyskiss). Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today (9/12) at noon, with the public on-sale starting Friday (9/14) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
