Bikini Kill reveal openers for NYC shows
Bikini Kill are gearing up for their reunion shows, including four in LA, four in NYC, and two in London (all sold out except London night two). They recently revealed openers for the LA shows and openers for the NYC shows have been announced too.
May 31 at Brooklyn Steel is with art punks Palberta, June at 1 Terminal 5 is with avant-rapper Sammus, June 4 at Kings Theatre is with punky indie rockers Pinocchio (new band with members of Vexx, Crazy Spirit, Dawn of Humans, Anasazi), and June 5 is with DC post-punks Gauche (members of Priests, Downtown Boys). Palberta also open for Chaos Chaos at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on May 25. Sammus has other tour dates including Deep Night with Dale at NYC’s Slipper Room on May 15, and Gauche have a newly-announced tour including Brooklyn’s Alphaville on August 24 (tickets on sale 4/26 at 10 AM).
Gauche’s new album A People’s History of Gauche comes out July 12 via Merge, and includes the just-released single “Running.” Watch the video for that song below.
