Bjork on Jools Holland

Bjork performed on TV for the first time in 8 years on 'Jools Holland' (watch)

Bjork performed on television for the first time in eight years on the May 22 episode of Later… With Jools Holland. Reminiscent of a gathering of woodland nymphs on a leafy set, Bjork wore an elaborate mask and was joined by costumed flutists for versions of “Courtship” (from 2017’s excellent Utopia) and “The Anchor Song” (from 1993’s Debut). Watch video of both songs below

Bjork is gearing up for sets at All Points East in London and Primavera Sound in Barcelona over the next couple of weeks. Her EP of remixes comes out on “slug genitalia colored” 12″ vinyl on Friday (5/25), complete with a cover image of a slug sculpted by visual artist and frequent collaborator Jesse Kanda.

The Breeders also performed on this episode of Jools Holland, and you can watch “Wait in the Car” and “Cannonball” below.
