Like they did in January, Blonde Redhead members Simone and Amedeo Pace will be performing original scores live alongside experimental films, as part of Cinema 16. These next performances happen May 18 at 19 at The Kitchen in Chelsea. Here''s the selection of films they're scoring:

Norman McLauren, A Phantasy (1952)
Malcolm La Grice, Berlin Horse (1970)
Charles and Ray Eames, Power of Ten (1977)
Naomi Uman, Removed (1999)
Liz Rhodes, Dynamo Duo (1971)
Adam Beckett, Flesh Flows (1974)
Scott Bartlett, OffOn (1967)

At the May 19 show, Blonde Redhead will be joined by special guest Michael Leonhart, a multi-instrumentalist and producer who has worked with Brian Eno, David Byrne, A Tribe Called Quest, Yoko Ono, and more. The May 19 show will also have a pre-show cocktail party and a post-performance party and DJ set. Tickets are on sale.

Blonde Redhead are also playing the Tokyo X Brooklyn festival at Brooklyn Expo Center this weekend (May 13-14) (tickets), and they're performing Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons in full at LA's FYF Fest in July.
