Blood Orange‘s new album, Cupid Deluxe, is definitely getting a lot more attention than his first, with widespread acclaim and appearances on year-end lists. Maybe it’s the increased ad budget (see above).

The week of its release, he celebrated with an uber-packed, guest-filled show at 285 Kent that was also the debut of his new full live band. (Sound/feedback issues aside, they were really good at 285.) While he hasn’t made any full tour plans, Dev has announced his next NYC show which happens February 6 at Webster Hall. Is that close enough to be considered a Cupid Deluxe Valentine’s Day show? Tickets go on sale Friday (12/13) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (12/11) at noon.
