After much teasing, Dev Hynes recently announced that the next Blood Orange will be called Negro Swan and will come out August 24 via Domino. Now, he released the first single from the album, "Charcoal Baby." The song was co-written with Porches' Aaron Maine, and it's a gorgeous dose of atmospheric R&B that's not too far removed from the stuff on Blood Orange's last album, but there's some new stuff going on too, including some nice jazzy guitar. UPDATE: Blood Orange released a second track just a few hours later, the even more atmospheric, more experimental, and more hip hop-oriented "Jewelry." Watch the video for that one (directed by Dev himself) below.

As mentioned, the live Blood Orange band is touring, including a NYC show on 9/26 at Central Park SummerStage (tickets).
