Minneapolis' arch noisepoppers BNLX are back with a new album, Good Light, which is out now on Susstones. As usual, Ed and Ashley Ackerson are not shy about their influences (mostly of the '80s college radio / UK indie variety) but they're canny songwriters and load the songs up with hooks (even if sometimes they're, like on "Flextime," New Order and Echo & the Bunnymen's hooks). It's a fun record that sounds great and you can stream the whole thing below.

BNLX are in NYC this week to play shows with their Swedish friends Les Big Byrd, including tonight's late show at Baby's All Right (5/11) (tickets), and Tuesday (5/12) at Cake Shop (tix at door).
