Bob Weir has announced another tour with his new trio Wolf Bros (Bobby, Don Was, and Jay Lane), who perform stripped-down versions of Grateful Dead songs and more. The new dates includes tristate area stops in Ithaca, NY; Wallingford, CT; and a two-night stand in Red Bank, NJ; plus shows in Cleveland, Detroit, Cincinnati, Philly, St. Louis, Austin, Miami, and more. You can register for the Verified Fan presale today (1/14) until 10 PM, and the presale begins Wednesday (1/16). All dates are listed below.
The tour ends with Bob Weir + Wolf Bro's appearance at the inaugural Redondo Beach fest BeachLife Festival, which also includes Brian Wilson, Willie Nelson, Violent Femmes, Best Coast, Everclear, Colin Hay, and more.
These are much more intimate venues than the ones Bobby will be playing when Dead & Company do their stadium/amphitheatre tour this summer, which includes NYC's CIti Field, Chicago's Wrigley Field, LA's Hollywood Bowl, and more.
In other Dead news, Phil Lesh is touring too.
