BOBBY opened for Thao & Mirah at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Wednesday (6/8) as part of an ongoing tour. Like on the Low Anthem tour, Mountain Man’s Amelia Meath is playing in BOBBY on this tour instead of Mountain Man’s Molly Sarle who is on the record and who played with them at the Knitting Factory show. After the BOBBY tour, Mountain Man will hit the road. As previously mentioned, that July tour hits Mercury Lounge in NYC on July 28th. As not yet mentioned, BOBBY has been added as opener on that show. Who will sing in BOBBY with both Amelia and Molly in the building remains to be seen. Tickets are still on sale.
BOBBY’s self titled debut is out June 21 via Partisan Records and streaming on NPR now. Mountain Man will release Live on the Wiltern on July 5th, recorded live at the Wiltern Theater in LA on October 2010.
