Bob's Burgers, which just won the 2017 Emmy for Outstanding Animated Series, will be going to the movies, with a feature film that has already set its tentpole for July 17, 2020. Series creator Loren Bouchard said in a statement:

We’re thrilled to be invited to bring Bob’s Burgers to the big screen. We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show. We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever so slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s – but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?!

Stay tuned for more info. Meanwhile, the FOX series just aired its eighth season premiere, which was unlike any other in the show's history. They handed animation for "Brunchsquatch" over to the show's fans and featured 62 different fan artists in as many disparate styles, everything from a scribbled crayon look to anime to stop-motion. If you missed it you can watch over at FOX and you can check out clips below.

If you're in NYC this weekend, in conjunction with NY Comic Con, there's going to be a Bob's Burgers pop-up on Saturday, October 7 at Fairfield Inn (325 West 33rd St) which is just a few blocks from the Javits Center. It's goes from 1:30 PM - 6 PM, you don't need to have a Comic Con pass to go, and features an array of Bob's Burgers-themed merch. The first 100 visitors get a free "talking cheeseburger" that recites quotes from the show.
